Offering jewellery and watch repairs and battery replacements as well as a wide variety of silver, locally hand-made and distinctive jewellery for women and men of all ages. We also offer bespoke jewellery design for those extra special moments.
Jewellery embellishes the most important moments in life and we feel honoured to play a small part in every birthday, engagement, anniversary or “just because” occasion that customers rely on us for. Because of this, we put the customers at the heart of everything we do.

My jewellery experience started in 2004 as a part time assistant in this very shop, at the time known as Paul Castle Jewellers, whilst at school. After completing a BA and an MA in Fine Art, I then went into retail, working in flagship London stores.
During this time I also trained to operate and run a laser cutter, planning to one day design my own range. In 2018, Paul approached me with an opportunity I couldn't turn down. Looking for someone to take the reins as a jeweller at The Oval, Paul offered his assistance in setting up my own business - the first female run jeweller’s at The Oval.
Paul started in the trade in 1977 as a Saturday boy in a jewellers in lewisham. Then worked for Richard Goodchild first at The Oval and then in Swanley, achieving the national association of goldsmith retail jewellers diploma in 1981.
He bought the business from Richard in 1985 and ran it until his retirement last year,2021. Paul continues to assist Robyn in the shop and still manages customer valuations, which are available for both insurance and probate.
Rob has been in the Jewellery trade since he started his apprenticeship at the age of 16. He has since trained as a stone setter, jewellery designer and engraver.
For the last 27 years he has been providing his skills and expertise to the customers of this shop.
J.H. Oxtoby & Sons is a fifth generation, family run business specialising in the sales, repairs and restoration of clocks, barometers and watches.
They have been partnered with the jeweller’s at the oval for over a decade, repairing and servicing watches for the local community.
